Happy Monday all!
It’s been a while since we’ve shared what we’re making, so today I present to you… Aster!
She is adorable and I love her.
This top from Colette Patterns is a great for transitioning into Fall. On warmer days, I tuck it into a skirt, and when it’s on the verge of snowing (?), jeans and a cardigan pair great too.
For the fabric, I decided to go with a lightweight chambray by Robert Kaufman. It drapes beautifully and it’s super comfy. Side note: I’m a big fan of denim on denim. It’s not for everyone, but it gets my stamp of approval.
This pattern also comes in a lovely long sleeve version, which I’m sure I will make at some point. My closet is currently comprised of about 70% long sleeve button-up shirts, but really, can one have too many long sleeve button-up shirts? I think not.

Til next time! ✌️
