Little Red Jacket

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today’s adventure is my little red bolero jacket. I found this beautiful fabric at FiberLilly in St. John’s. It is a soft boucle. I fell in love with it immediately and bought it without having a project in mind. Shortly after this purchase, I discovered the Lourdes Cropped Jacket pattern by Named Clothing. I love this pattern company. This pattern was super easy to follow and the fit was great. I didn’t even need to make a muslin to ensure an accurate fit. Bonus!

It is a cropped A-line jacket, with some super cute details. The back features an inverted pleat and the 3/4 length sleeves have a dolphin hem.
It also has “fake” side pockets sewn in the front waist darts. Both the fabric and the pattern were a hit. Thanks FiberLilly and Named!

Things have been changing around our house lately. I thought you would like to know that we have brought a new dog into our family. Her name is Tiny and she has stolen our hearts!

Also, there is a BIG announcement coming soon from Jennifer and I.  We are so excited and can’t wait to share it with you next week.
